It’s only game one of the 2006 season, but the Miami Dolphins have already proved they have work to do. One week ago, I wrote an article entitled “Miami Dolphins Over Hyped.” In that article, I talked about why the Miami Dolphins are not as good as the media was hyping them to be. I gave three solid reasons why. One reason was Daunte Culpepper. I mentioned his interception problem before. Last night that problem showed up in spades.

This entire NFL offseason we have been hearing media outlet after media outlet tout the Miami Dolphins. Yes, the Dolphins are this season’s bandwagon team. Countless NFL analysts are quick to jump on and shout, “Look Ma No Hands!” I am not one of them. Yes, the AFC East is not that strong, but I just am not buying that the Miami Dolphins are that great. They finished 9-7 last season thanks to a six game win streak to close out the year. I will present three ironclad points that prove the Miami Dolphins are not the best thing since sliced bread.

The Miami Dolphins have cleared Daunte Culpepper to start in their preseason opener on Saturday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. This is going to be a game to watch—at least for a few minutes. Daunte Culpepper has been babied since coming off his knee surgery. On Saturday, the training wheels come off. He will finally be exposed to full contact.
