Ty Law has officially become a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. The two sides agreed on a five-year $30 million contract. The defense for Kansas City just got better. Ty Law is a 32-year-old corner back and still has some premium years left in him. If you are a Chiefs fan, you have to be happy with this deal.

In talking about the deal, GM Carle Peterson said, “He’s certainly not the same player he was six or eight years ago, but you can’t negate the fact he had 10 interceptions last season and was a Pro Bowl selection. I would be pleased if he has half the interceptions he had last season.” Everyone had been anticipating Law’s arrival in Kansas City. It’s finally a done deal. Law brings with him a winning attitude and Super Bowl experience.
