Friday NFL Football

There are five preseason NFL football games today. There are a couple of games to watch—at least for a few minutes. Actually, I’m starving for the NFL, so I will watch an entire game at this point. Here are the match ups and the current lines.

The New York Jets are at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a 3.5 point favorite. The under/over is 33.

The Denver Broncos are at the Detroit Lions at 7:30 p.m. Eastern. The Denver Broncos are a 2 point favorite. The under/over is 37.5.

The New York Giants are at the Baltimore ravens at 8 p.m. Eastern. The Baltimore Ravens are three point favorites. The under/over is 34.

The New England Patriots are at the Atlanta Falcons at 8 p.m. Eastern. This game is on CBS. The Atlanta Falcons are 3.5 point favorites and the under/over is 35.5.

The Chicago Bears are at the San Francisco 49ers at 10 p.m. Eastern. The San Francisco 49ers are a one-point favorite and the under over is 34.

I don’t really bet preseason NFL football too much, but here’s my take. I’m looking forward to the New England Patriots at Atlanta Falcons game, because at least I get to see a couple minutes of Michael Vick. This game is at three points in some sports books. If I were going to bet, I would take the Falcons in lay the three points.

The other game I would bet would be the Denver Broncos at the Detroit Lions. I like taking the Detroit Lions plus the two points here. I just have a feeling that although it’s a preseason game the Detroit Lions will be firing up the offense.

Atlanta beat New England 26-23 and tied the spread.

In my 2nd game, the Detroit Lions beat the Denver Broncos and covered the spread.
