[ Back Home ] August 11, 2006Eagles Beat ClevelandThe Philadelphia Eagles beat the Cleveland Browns in their preseason meeting tonight. Most of the Eagles scoring happened in the third quarter—they scored 14. The Cleveland Browns got their lone score in the fourth quarter. Donovan McNabb was 7 for 9 in passing for 78 yards. The game was full of penalties. The Eagles led the way with 12 and the Browns followed with 7. It was a pretty lackluster game for both teams. The Eagles, in their 2nd preseason game, look ready to play. They need to cut down on the penalties, but that will happen when the first team is playing fulltime. Leave a Reply |
