Ben Roethlisberger Ready To Go

On Saturday, the Pittsburgh Steelers are playing their first preseason game at Arizona. Word came down today that Ben Roethlisberger will start that game. He’s been trying to pressure coach Bill Cowher into letting him start and it appears that he won that battle.

Just two months ago, Roethlisberger was involved in an almost deadly motorcycle accident. If you remember, he wasn’t wearing a helmet and he had no valid license to ride. It’s amazing that he’s already in playing shape. The reports are conflicted about how long Roethlisberger will play for. Some say 1-2 series, but others are saying a full quarter.

Either way, when Roethlisberger takes the field, it will be a big sigh of relief for Steeler fans. He’s lost some weight over the past couple of months. This Saturday we will get to see just how ready he is to start the season.
