It’s amazing, but Ricky Williams has not run out of options. His poor behavior, bad decision making ability and flimsy attitude is well documented. He sure has been a major disappointment. I bet Mike Ditka wishes he never traded away all those picks for Williams. Nevertheless, Ricky Williams still have cash bearing options in football. He has just signed a lucrative deal with the Toronto Argonauts in the CFL.

Who knows if Ricky Williams will ever amount to much of anything in the CFL, but at least he has another shot. He’s just one player in a long line that looked stellar in college play and never amounted to much. Of course in Williams’ case, it was more of a personal decision that an utter lack of talent. If history is any guide, Williams will live out a mediocre existence in the CFL until the wind blows his flimsy personality another direction. Is the “CFL Curse” for real? Time will tell.
